Reconstruction work is underway at the San Ramon Catholic School in Himamaylan City, Negros Occidental, where Typhoon Odette caused severe damage to the roof, ceiling, and walls of a building that housed several classrooms, laboratories, the school clinic, and offices.
Tanging Yaman Foundation contributed PhP 520,447.00 towards the rehabilitation of the damaged building.
Rev. Fr. Richard L. Lachica said they expect to finish the reconstruction at the end of June, just before face-to-classes resume.
