We remain dedicated to rescuing surplus produce from our partner farmers in Nueva Vizcaya. While these farmers struggle to find markets for their harvests, many urban families are finding it harder than ever to make ends meet. We are committed to bridging this gap.
In our latest effort, we distributed 5.3 tons of cabbage, tomatoes, sayote, and upo. This milestone was made possible by the incredible generosity of our donors and farmers, who donated additional vegetables specifically for those in need.
Fr. Jerome Ponce, OFM, of St. Clare of Assisi Parish, captures the spirit of this mission: "Sa maliliit na paraan, nagiging malaking pagpapala tayo sa isa’t isa. Tunay nga, kapag sama-sama, nagiging masagana ang biyaya ng Diyos."
Thanks to our donors, volunteers, and partners at St. Clare of Assisi Parish (Malabon) and San Jose Ang Tagapagtanggol Parish (Navotas), hundreds of families received fresh produce. A blessed Holy Week to all!
