The Gawad Kalinga Kusina ng Kalinga in Barangay Buena Vista, Makilala, North Cotabato, a GK Ateneo pilot project geared at addressing hunger and malnutrition in the First 1000 Days of new born children in the area was destroyed by the recent series of earthquakes. Our GK Kusina ng Kalinga team however continues to work there, cooking and feeding bout 2,000 people in the evacuation centers of Makilala. Supplies are running low and we are calling for donations to sustain the feeding operation.
