Abot-Kayang Gulay for All (Oct 21-22)

Mary the Queen Parish (MTQ) together with the Tanging Yaman Foundation (TYF) will be selling vegetables and rice at the Jerusalem Hall on 21-22 Oct, 8am-5pm.

We continue to experience and witness the surge in prices of basic commodities. Inflation has hurt and affected everyone most especially the lower income families.

This “Gulay for All” talipapa initiative aims to provide some help & relief by offering lower prices of vegetables and rice (secured directly from farmers & miller) to all.

Please share this with your friends and neighbors. Come and we look forward to see you soon. God bless you!

PWDs and Children with Cancer Received Rice Packs

Tanging Yaman Foundation donated 15 sacks of rice to the St Joseph Shrine in Cubao, Quezon City. The Shrine's Social Services and Development Ministry repacked the rice into 3 kg bags and distributed these, along with other grocery items, to 100 people with disabilities who are receiving livelihood training and employment assistance from the Rehabilitation Sheltered Workshop in Project 4, QC, a facility managed by the Department of Social Welfare and Development.

The remaining rice was distributed in Childhaus, a temporary shelter for children with cancer, also in Quezon City.

Maraming salamat to SSDM coordinator August Guatlo and the Shrine team for organizing this activity during a period when the steep increase in food prices is threatening vulnerable families.
