In January 2022, the St. Joseph Regional Seminary in Jaro, Iloilo City embarked on a construction project to convert its basketball/volleyball courts into a covered multi-purpose hall.
This enclosed space is useful not just for sports but for gatherings such as the recollection of the Jaro clergy, which the seminary hosts every month, and the regular assembly of theology seminarians from the Visayas.
The seminary will also open the space for the barangay’s use in case of disasters.
Tanging Yaman Foundation donated P1-M to the seminary for the construction of the multi-purpose hall. AM+DG
