Rehab Project in Sipalay, Negros Occidental

When Typhoon Odette crashed its way through Negros Island, the Holy Rosary Academy of Sipalay, Negros Occidental opened its doors to evacuees from two barangays who feared their homes might be flooded. Little did they know that the school itself would suffer severe damage. Three elementary classrooms and the library were totally wrecked; the roof and ceiling of the Junior High School building and TLE room were also destroyed. The school lost books, computers, and TVs.

TYF donated P530,000 to replace the building’s roof. Today, half of the new roof is already in place. They expect to complete construction in the next few months. AM+DG
