Ongoing Rehab Project in St. Joseph High School Inayauan

The St. Joseph High School Inayauan, Cauayan, Negros Occidental, was devastated by Typhoon Odette. The school, founded in 1968, was constructed mainly of wood. Its roof blew off, and its walls caved it. After retrieving files from the debris, the school decided to completely demolish the building and construct it anew.

Fr. Rodel Sampallo, Parish Priest and School Director estimates it will cost P7.8-M to rebuild. Its PTA and alumni associations have lined up fundraising activities to meet this target. Tanging Yaman Foundation has also committed P1,775,232 for rebuilding the high school. AM+DG
